Lease Law Changes in Brussels Coming November 2024
Starting November 1st, 2024, the Directorate of Regional Housing Inspection (DGHI) will expand its oversight to include all housing, whether rented or not. Tenants filing complaints with DGHI or the Joint Rent Commission will have added protections throughout the process. Landlords can also request a DGHI inspection to ensure their property meets quality standards. Read more about the key changes.
