Where are you from? I’m from London, the UK
Where do you live now? We live in Haarlem in the Netherlands
What made you decide to move to the Netherlands? I got a job opportunity here
If you were to rate your complete move, what would the rating be? 10/10. Even though the settling process is a bit complicated in the Netherlands, Expat Management Group held our hands the whole way.
What would you have done differently? I don’t think there would have done anything differently. Maybe we underestimated how long the settling process would take.
What has been the best part of your move? Dutch people are very welcoming and helpful. They are also very practical people and its been nice learning the culture.
Any last tips and tricks? Having some kind of EUR bank account before moving here helps.
